Maternity Leave

What has mom-to-be been up to? A lot of people have asked me what I will do on maternity leave. There are a lot of things to be done in preparation for the baby:
-Gathering last minute necessities
-Un-packaging, putting together and washing all of the baby's stuff
-Remembering nutrients for me and the baby (calcium, protein, brain foods)
-Counting baby's kicks
-Daily exercises and relaxation practice
-Positive thinking/mental preparation for labor and parenting
-Planning and budgeting for the near future
-Taking care of Minkz
-REST
In general, I have been trying to appreciate the last days of me-time. My chiropractor reminded me to pamper myself now - thanks Dr. Mike! I got a nap in on Monday and I had a nice workout yesterday. Minkz and I went on a spontaneous night drive to Half Moon Bay to take-in the ocean and night sky. There are a lot of things that we won't be able to do or that will be different with the baby. But, I'm positive that there will be even more added to our lives.
