Penny's princess party

Penny's 4 year princess party happened the Saturday before her birthday.  Grandma came to visit from PA and made the special cake with a design inspired by her invitations.  We hired a music teacher/entertainer that dressed up like a princess and brought music and props (and her loud singing voice).  Overall it was a good time.

Penny's actual birthday

Thursday the 21st was Penny's 4th birthday. She went to school and got the "birthday bear" to bring home, a special teddy bear that the kids take home on their birthdays.  That night, dad came home from work early.  We had steamed mussels for dinner, Penny's favorite, and we went to frozen yogurt for dessert.  Penny chose raspberry and peach flavors with sprinkles and she ate it all.  It was a good day for our big girl.  Her princess party pictures will be coming soon...
