We moved to our San Mateo townhouse and we have mostly unpacked already. Although both Minkz and I were sad to leave our San Francisco apartment and neighborhood, I feel confident that we will learn to appreciate our new home and lifestyle. One nice thing is that we now have space for the baby and everything that comes along with having a baby. The next step is to figure out what it is that we really need for the baby.
Sunday, Minkz and I attended our first childbirth class of three classes. This was a four-hour class about the labor/delivery process taught by my midwife. We learned a lot, but at the end we were the first couple out of there. I think it was a slight overload of information for us. The important things that I reaffirmed from the class are that I am in good hands with my midwife and that I can handle labor with some mental (visualizing a successful birth) and physical (kegels & squats) preparation.

It was a bit long and arduous, but I think we came out with some good knowledge that will help us understand the process. Everything seems unreal right now, but every little bit that we learn will help he prepare for a successful delivery - I hope :)
I'm proud of you Dawn.
