We were all over the bay area this weekend. Saturday, we visited our friend's new baby Griffin in San Ramon and then spent time with relatives in San Jose. Sunday, we went to a friend's birthday party at the park in SF. Monday, we went to a friend's BBQ-potluck in San Mateo. Penny is still very portable and easy enough to take care of wherever we are and she is happy to nap in noisy places.
Next week will be the real test, when we take a 6-hour road trip to Mammoth. We need to think about things that we didn't consider before. We will have to take several breaks to let Penny out of the car seat. Also, I will need to pump and store breast milk and wash and sterilize the pump accessories and bottles on the road (the hotel room has a full kitchen). Hopefully the baby will be ok with the foreign crib at night.
We are also thinking about a San Diego trip in July.
