Max update

It's been a while since I have shared about Max's progress.
He is 14 months old and coincidentally, he has at least 14 teeth.  He is walking and running well and much of my day is spent chasing after him or trying to figure out how to contain him and keep him safe.
Verbally, he is not as advanced.  He still does not say "mama"!  His words include, "daddy, doggy, hi, bike, ice, cheese" and I think I heard him say "memy" for Penny once.
He is a classic boy and loves cars.  What is it about cars?  He waves to cars when they drive by.  He plays with toy cars.  He makes a "brrooom" sound.  He likes to look at pictures of cars, too.
We are taking swimming lessons and although he hasn't mastered many skills yet, he does not mind it at all.  He is about ready to be dunked under the water soon.  His favorite part of class is when we sit them up on the side of the pool, sing a humpty-dumpty song and then they jump into our arms (with some assistance).
We still call him every nickname in the book.  Maku, Mackadoodle, Doogie, Boogie, etc.  I hope he knows what his real name is.
Here is a pic of him "hiking" at Las Trampas Regional Wilderness...in his pajamas (I think it was the only clean outfit that fit at the time)
