Maxwell's debut

We have been enjoying our maternity/paternity time with Maxwell. Penny goes to daycare during the week, which is nice because we are tired during the day from the long nights. Max seems to be having a growth spurt and wants to nurse about every two hours right now. Penny has been a great big sister and is very gentle with Max. She is proud of her new role as a helper and copies the things we say to Max like, "shhh", "I know", "it's okay baby", "your big sister is here baby".
So far Maxwell is a good baby. He does spit-up quite a bit and seems to fuss before big poops, but he is gaining weight well and grows a little bit every day. Today's changes were that his eyebrows look more filled-in and his cry got louder.
We have noticed that parenting the second time is a lot more relaxed so far, because we know what to expect and a crying baby does not have the same anxiety inducing effect as it used to.
I am recovering well and we have been taken care of by Minkz's mom, Huong, who has been visiting us with dinners almost daily.
