We are surviving

Not sure if anyone still checks this but I wanted to post a short update. We made it home from the hospital on Monday and we have been enjoying family time and surviving the crazy schedule of eat, sleep, poop. The baby is healthy and I am recovering well. I'm having a hard time sleeping when the baby sleeps, as everyone tells me to do, but I will get it someday soon. It will be very different once Minkz goes back to work (he only planned to take two weeks). Right now, the main challenge we are having is with breast feeding and Penelope's tight frenulum... will post more later.

yes! we still read this. im glad you are all well. my charlie had a tight/short frenulum when he was a baby, but grew out of it with the help of "exercise" his has mom said. and i hear that breastfeeding is one of the major challenges. keep it up though. let me know if you need anything.

Still reading! Glad you are surviving. It is definitely hard to sleep when Penny sleeps - do you take a shower? Read? Do a load of laundry? Eat lunch? So many choices! Don't worry, you'll be able to catch up in a couple of months, heh, heh. X, Mallory
